Specifications
The 2001 ZX6R is a 599cc 4 stroke engine, with a 6 speed gearbox. Has a base horsepower of 110 @ 12,500 RPM. A top speed of 161 mph. Base torque is 48 lbf ft @ 10,000 RPM. Weight of 377 lbs wet.
Those specs are stock, I have installed the 520 conversion giving more torque to the rear wheel but taking away from top speed. With the slip on installed it should have a 2 to 3 hp increase along with the jetted carbs. I have not taken the bike to a dyno, mainly because they cost around 2oo dollars. The bike is currently a commuter/track day bike.
